An exceptional 18 carat gold ring from the Edwardian period, featuring three cabochon cut turquoise stones with old cut diamonds between.
The contrast of the gold and turquoise is sumptuous.

The ring is warm yellow gold and has an English hallmark for the Assay Office of Birmingham, England, 18ct gold and the year 1908. The maker's marks are also present.
Three oval stones of natural Persian turquoise, varying in color across the focal from clear blue to deep aqua and the green that the Victorians and Edwardians so loved.
Six small old cut diamonds (in two sizes) are set between the cabochons adding lovely sparkle to the ring.
Ring Size: US size 5.5, UK size L (the ring could be re-sized up or down 2-3 sizes by a competent jeweler)
The focal is .5 inches or 14mm across, and the highest point of the central stone sits 4.5mm above the finger.
The inside diameter of the ring is 16.10mm.
The narrowest part of the band measures 2.5mm wide.
The central oval turquoise stone measures 4 x 5.5mm
Age: 1908 - 110 years of age and still gorgeous!
Condition: Excellent. No abrasion, chips or cracks to the stones, all are secure. The ring band is smooth and comfortable to wear - this has always been a very good quality piece and still is.
A very alluring ring that is beautiful on the hand - this piece will elicit much comment. The natural color variation of the Persian turquoise is wonderful.
